Legend tells of a secret place hidden deep in the forest - a small pool with the ability to grant wishes. Many men have foolishly wasted their entire lives in pursuit of this fantasy...for the wishing pond only reveals itself to those with the purest of hearts...and even those that do find it, don't get to chose their wish - the pond already knows their deepest desires. This is a place where star crossed lovers are reunited, where fallen heros are brought back to life, and a place where monsters and ugly ducklings are made to be beautiful...

First off - the girl in this image is 100% airbrushed FROM SCRATCH. This is my first time ever doing an airbrushing. Yes, it was a pain in the butt. Yes, it took a long long time. Yes, I will never do it again. I did use a reference photo, but started from ground zero. (which is why I am resubmitting this) I got some great advice from Zoelle (awesome artist - thank you!), followed some tips in Seafairy's tutorial...as well as some advice from Cryptorchid about using grids to keep everything in proportion. I made a few changes to her, as well as had to add an arm. The skin wasn't THAT bad once I got the hang of it, but the hair was a bitch, and took a few days. I found myself getting lazy and sloppy with each grid...so I had to take a lot of breaks to stay focused. I also lost a lot of quality in her face too..but luckily the mist covers some of that up.
The stock clouds I got from bigguy which make for great mist effects.
The other photos in this are stock as well.
Like most of my work, this is very personal to me. The story and artwork go together...hence this piece is not about a hot girl taking a bath. Enjoy.
That's absolutely stunning. The backdrop, the water, the figure, even the ornaments in the corners of the border and the text look fantastic. Nicely done.
good description, could be a good base for a story around someone searching that pool - maybe not the most innovative storyline, but if it's told well...
I don't know if it's intended, but she kinda reminds me of Katie Price, the face and the hair
WUHAAAH the unholy beauty is back!
Great job, I don't remember the other one exactly so I can't really say wether your changes are good or bad ones. It looks awesome anyway. It's SO good man...just the smokey-aura glow is a bit too purple at the bottom (perhaps desaturate a bit) and the ripples around her legs look real, but they don't accentuate her body lines...perhaps a little smudge here and there would fix it.
wow, this is so beautiful! the colors and the composition.. and, well, everything. i love the awstruck look of the girl, and the magic sparkly-thingys around her...
although i have to wonder why her breasts need to be so.. large?

This is a very nice creation! I really like the story behind it! It has something magical! The airbrushing is from high quality! Great work on that! (only her boops could be a little bit smaller to be more realistic)
Well done!

still looks as cool as ever
